You Tube Terminated My Channel!

So YouTube decided to terminate my channel because I posted videos of me on Fatal Attraction and For My Man!

They claimed it was "Copyright infringement." Oh and many of the videos had been on the channel for at least two years!

First they they removed me from the YouTube Partners Program that they invited me to join! Sure, YouTube, whatever you say!

So I did a counter claim advising them that

I'm a journalist / dating coach who was paid to provide commentary on various episodes of Fatal Attraction and For My Man on TV One.

YouTube also has a message on their page that states" In the United States, works of commentary, criticism, research, teaching, or news reporting may be considered fair use.  https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9783148?sjid=8818737249011868395-NA

This is why I thought the videos would be acceptable because I'm providing commentary that I was contacted and paid to do.

As you can see in the screenshot below, I was doing well on my channel. My page was growing rapidly and back in 2022 while these same Fatal Attraction videos were up, YouTube invited me to the YouTube Partners Program, I didn't ask, I didn't apply, they invited me. Well, I guess due to the recent Tik Tok scare, I wasn't the person they wanted to see do well on YouTube so they removed me. Oh Well, Life goes on! What You Tube does is they will "claim" the owners of the original material filed a copyright claim and if we get three strikes, our channel will be removed, but the problem is, You Tube doesn't show you any proof this was done, nothing in writing from the "alleged" removal requester, they just hope you don't fight back and silently accept what they are saying, well because they said it! 🤷🏽‍♀️

At this point, I don't even have the interest or energy to go after them for it! They know exactly what they are doing just like many of people behind these platforms. This is not my battle to fight, and frankly, my dear, I don't give a ---., just sharing this so it's known that yes I had a YouTube channel that was doing quite well.

I feel good about my accomplishments and while they removed me from the platform in which I used to showcase my appearances, they can't take those away from me! I believe that YouTube is going to slip up with the wrong group of people who has the time and energy to fight back and there will be some huge allegations against YouTube.

I know many of my readers would ask, You're a Dating Coach, why would this be your first post in a while? Well, it's mostly because I want to make sure people know to never settle for a mindset of defeat. I'm definitely not! Some people would get so depressed and down because their YouTube page was removed. They would treat it like this was all they had, but you have to know you are more than that, you're a bigger than just a platform that someone else gets paid to put you on .

Just because YouTube took me off of this platform does not mean a thing. God has a bigger platform that he wants to put you on, so never sweat the small stuff.
