Hello and happy Valentine’s Day to all my Settle Free sisters and brothers out there.
Today I’m still single, woopty doo, so I loved on myself and my family for Valentine’s Day.
You see, Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about performance or pressure or romance. It’s about real happiness, real peace, and real connection. Whether you’re in a relationship, single, or celebrating friendships, love should never be forced, fake, or for show.
This day is for authenticity, not pretending.
For standards, not settling.
For joy, not obligation.
For community, not comparison.
Let me be clear, this isn’t a criticism of marriage.
It’s not an attack on relationships.
It’s not a judgment of couples who are genuinely happy and celebrating love together.
If you’re in a healthy, loving relationship, celebrate it fully. You deserve that joy.
This is simply a reminder.
If you’re not in a relationship, you don’t have to pretend you’re missing something.
You can love on yourself.
You can celebrate your life.
You can enjoy your peace.
You can live fully as you are.
And if you are in a relationship but it’s unhealthy, performative, or painful , you don’t owe anyone a performance. You don’t have to fake happiness for a holiday. You don’t have to prove anything online. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is call a thing a thing, choose honesty, and choose yourself.

Love can look like self-love.
It can look like family.
It can look like friendship.
It can look like a Galentine’s celebration with your girls.
It can look like peace.
It can look like freedom.
Because love isn’t a status, it’s a state of being.
Love looks like honesty, safety, freedom, and selfrespect, and anyone can celebrate that.

Today was simple, Peaceful, Full, and Joyful.
I enjoyed a great movie, some yummy chocolates, an adult beverage and the kind of relaxation that only comes from being truly at peace with your life. No pressure. No performance. No pretending, just presence.

And the best part?
Spending time with my family.
Sharing love with my daughter and grandson.
Laughing. Giving. Being present. Creating memories.
This is what real love looks like to me. They loved the gift packages I got them.

Valentine’s Day isn’t about proving anything.
It’s about connection, peace, community, and gratitude.
Because the truth is:
“I’m not lonely, I’m at peace.”
“I’m not missing love, I am love.”
“I’m not waiting, I’m living.”
Today wasn’t about romance.
It was about presence.
It was about family.
It was about joy.
It was about settle-free living and that’s a love worth celebrating, today and every day.

Here’s to purposeful love, peaceful living, premium standards, and a settle-free life on Valentine’s Day and every day. #Settlefree
