“Never underestimate the power of being in the right room with the right people.”
Hey all my Settlefree Sisters and friends. As many of you know, I’m Tinzley, television personality, experienced interviewer, author of The Settle Free Dating Method for Women, and a trusted voice who inspires women to stop settling in every area of life.
I just love sharing my life experiences, especially when I get to attend amazing events like the one I attended this past Saturday.
There are moments in life that leave a lasting imprint on your heart, and let me tell you, attending the “Her Balance Redefined: The Balance Brunch” was one of those moments for me.
Now this wasn’t just another brunch, it was an experience. It was an atmosphere intentionally created for women to pause, reflect, recharge, and reconnect with themselves and with one another.
Hosted at C&S seafood and Oyster Bar Brookhaven, it was a moment filled with nothing but positive energy. Thanks to the Lovely host herself. Robin L.

It was a Room Filled with Purpose
There were so many things that stood out to me, but what really stood out the most was the caliber of women in the room.
These were women who were driven.
Women who were walking boldly in their purpose.
Women who knew their worth.
Women who refused to settle for less than what God has called them to.
Women who uplifted instead of competed.
Women who carried themselves with confidence, grace, faith, and authenticity.
Being surrounded by so many like minded, God fearing women was refreshing.
The conversations were meaningful, genuine, and filled with encouragement. It reminded me that there is still beauty in community and that success is even sweeter when we celebrate one another.
This part was so cool, we had to go around the room and just talk about where we were in life, our gift bags included these little wellness cards, where we had to talk about how we’re refilling our cup, how we are celebrating our own growth, and how we’re working more towards our health and wellness. It was a reflection like no other. I tell you the stories and the conversation around these topics were so inspirational and many of us could resonate with what the ladies were sharing. Every single woman not only knew who they were, but they knew “Whose”they were.
I spoke candidly about the importance of not settling in an unhealthy situation or in an unhappy situation simply because you feel that that’s the best you can do. I spoke about how I no longer settle for over extending myself, I don’t settle for allowing a person who is filled with grudge holding, unforgiveness and resentment and who is committed to finding reasons to be against me or view me in a bad way, to dominate my confidence anymore.
I know who I am. God knows who I am and that’s all that matters.

It was A Beautifully Curated Experience
Everything about the brunch was thoughtfully put together. The venue was elegant. The décor was beautiful. The ambiance was peaceful yet vibrant. Every detail reflected excellence.
And just a little horn tooting moment here, I was so proud of My Daughter, Atlanta Florist and founder of “It’s Kee Kreations” for providing the mini bouquets. They served as beautiful centerpieces and adorable keepsakes for all the guest.. They were GORGEOUS! Follow her on Instagram for all your floral and Balloon decor needs!

More than the aesthetics, though, it was the feeling in the room that made the biggest impression on me.
The energy was welcoming, environment felt safe and peaceful. There was joy, sincerity, love and
it felt like a space where women could simply be themselves without judgment or comparison.
And that’s what living a settle free life is all about. Refusing to share your space with people who don’t align with your energy and who have competitive, envious motives.

Oh and the food was delicious! It was a pre-set menu with three main course items and for me I just had to try the steak and cheese eggs with potatoes, I had calamari, and this yummy chocolate cake with the powdered sugar, ice cream, and whipped cream on the side with the strawberry drizzle, when I tell you, everything was 10 out of 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Every Win Matters
As I sat there listening, connecting, and simply taking it all in, I couldn’t help but reflect on something that has been on my heart lately.
Sometimes we wait until we’ve reached a huge milestone before we celebrate ourselves.
But the truth is…
Every win deserves to be celebrated!
Being invited into rooms like this is a win.
Meeting inspiring people is a win.
Making new connections is a win.
Growing spiritually is a win.
Learning something new is a win.
Showing up even when you’re still building your dream is a win.
Showing up even after failure, is a win.
Don’t ever allow anyone to minimize what God is doing in your life just because it looks small to them.
Small victories eventually become big testimonies.
So because I inspire women to stop settling for less in every area of life, and live a subtle free lifestyle, of course I had to know some of the things that the lovely host herself stopped settling for?
I asked the lovely Robin and creator of
“Her Balance Redefined“ What are four things she no longer settles for? Man on man did she have some dope responses that I can totally relate to and I’m sure you will be able to as well.
So here they are, Four things Robin L. no longer settles for:
1. Peace that comes with conditions.
I've learned that peace isn't something you should have to negotiate. In this season, I'm choosing environments, relationships, and opportunities that do not require having to force anything.
2. Spaces that require me to shrink to make others comfortable.
For a long time, I questioned my voice and minimized my gifts. Today, I'm learning to take up space with confidence, lead with purpose, and trust my God’s given gifts.
3. Relationships that are not reciprocal.
Whether it's personal or professional, I'm choosing relationships rooted in mutual respect.
4. Letting fear get in the way of my progress.
This season of my life is about courage. I'm trusting my voice, building Her Balance Redefined, and creating spaces where women feel seen. I'm no longer waiting for permission to operate as the best version of myself.
Oh MY GOODNESS! Let’s do a recap on Robins Settlefree methods. No longer settling for Peace that comes with Conditions , Spaces that require her to shrink to make other people comfortable, Relationships that are not reciprocal, and letting fear get in the way of her progress.

All I can say is “That part!!!!!! “
How many people can relate to what Robin refuses to settle for in her life anymore? How many of you can relate to non-reciprocal relationships and friendships? I know I can.
Robin’s response definitely made me think of this next line below:
Don’t Let Anyone Dim Your Light
One of the greatest lessons I walked away with is that;
Comparison has no place in purpose.
Your journey is uniquely yours.
Your gifts are uniquely yours.
Your voice matters.
Your story matters.
Your light was never meant to look like someone else’s.
There will always be people whose accomplishments seem bigger, louder, or further along than yours.
Celebrate them.
But never lose sight of what God has placed inside of you. Never settle for the mindset of thinking you are not enough! Never settle for the mindset of it’s too late! Never sell for the mindset of thinking you have passed your prime!
Your light doesn’t have to shine like someone else’s to be impactful.
So now, I’m sure you’re like. Who are all these beautiful powerful women in this space? Well allow me to introduce these gorgeous queens who attended this amazing brunch. (I wasn’t able to get everyone’s photo before they left, but I was able to get a few.)

Your light is already enough.
As I prepare to close out this feature, I wanted to remind you of something that is extremely important and instrumental in you continuing to grow, evolve, and eventually reaching and sustaining your greater purpose.
What do I mean by your light is already enough? Let me break it down, your light was created specifically for the people YOU were called to reach. So we’ve gotta get out of the mindset of thinking that everybody should be liking sharing and even engaging with the things that we are passionate about, because they simply may not be interested. Your message is for who your message is for. And that’s not everybody. And that’s OK.
Whenever you don’t have a viral video that does not take away from your purpose. So don’t you dare shrink.
Don’t dim your light because someone else is uncomfortable or because you feel like your light is not bright enough, keep going.
If you are reading this blog right now and you’re starting to feel discouraged or you’ve been feeling discouraged, keep going.
If you have been questioning whether your dreams are even worth pursuing, I want you to start fresh, put together a 90 day plan, follow that planand keep going.
If you have experienced any kind of setback, keep going. If you were looking around and you feel like you have settled for less than you deserve, and you’re ready to stop settling I would love to hear from you. Settlefree@protonmail.com
Stand firm on the vision God placed in your heart.
Let me tell you something, I’ve been seeing smaller creators, with smaller numbers of followers , get chosen for big roles , simply because they kept going.
Walk confidently in your purpose. Trust Gods timing, stay faithful during the process. Believe me when I tell you that your season is coming. The doors meant for you, will open. Keep going.
The opportunities with your name on them will find you. Keep doing the work when no one is watching. Keep going.
The ladies who attended this brunch, realize every single step forward, even the smallest one, is preparing them for something greater.
I am incredibly grateful to Her Balance Redefined for creating such a meaningful space for women to connect, reset, grow, and be reminded of who they are. This was a big reminder that community does matter. Having faith does matter. Having a purpose does matter. Showing up does matter. And when women come together to empower one another, beautiful things happen.
So here’s to continuing to grow, inspire, support, and remind one another that we were created for more, and that we should never settle for less than we deserve .
Keep believing. Keep building. Keep becoming. Refuse to settle for anything less than the woman you were created to be, because your purpose is worth every step of the journey.
With love and purpose,
Until next time… keep shining, keep trusting, and never settle for less. Your light is exactly what this world needs.
