Heyyyyy! Let me tell you all about my weekend! I had a blast! You already know I live a Settlefree life and I REFUSE to settle for anything that does not serve me.
Well this luxury boat experience was top tear and I just have to share the deets! It definitely SERVED!
We gathered for something truly magical, a girl’s getaway that was much needed.
The Jesus, Jazz and Journaling Luxury Boat Experience with the Creu Girls organized by Nameica Craig, Founder of Girl, Affirm YourSelf!, Inc.
An Exclusive Member Only Social Organization for Visionary Women of Faith.
This experience was more than just a day on the water, it was a celebration of connection, empowerment, and the kind of sisterhood that remains unforgettable.
Now just imagine this, crystal blue waves, warm breezes, perfect weather and an atmosphere so full of purpose you could feel it radiating through every moment the boat rocked and the waves tipped. The theme was, ‘Nautical Chic’ a glamorous blend of navy, white, flowy linens, stripes, and sunhats that brought out our collective glow. And yes honey, we all made sure to pack the necessary essentials; sunglasses, sunscreen, towels, and of course, our journals and jazz vibes ready to sync with the boat’s rhythm.
A Space for Empowerment and Affirmation
In a world that often tries to silence women’s voices, this getaway reminded us that our stories, our aspirations, and our worth deserve celebration. We cheered each other on, shared our memorable experiences, and embraced the importance of acknowledging our own existence as we let our hair down, laid back and enjoyed the breeze. There was something so liberating about a day devoted to self-expression fueled by soulful melodies, reflection, and spiritual grounding.
We were definitely “Affirmed.” Do you see these photos? They are giving, Living our best life! Or as the fabulous Jill Scott said, “Living my life like it’s Golden!”
A Ceremony to Remember
One of my favorite parts was the Message in a Bottle ceremony. Each of us received a little bottle with a small piece of paper tucked inside.
We each wrote down a positive note, prayer, or affirmation, then tossed our bottles into the water with the hope that if they ever resurfaced ashore, whoever found them would be uplifted and inspired.
It was such a powerful reminder that the love, encouragement, and faith we share doesn’t stop with us it ripples outward, reaching people we may never even meet.
Food, Gifts and Genuine Love
Of course, no getaway is complete without good food and we had plenty of it! Delicious bites that fueled our laughter, conversations, and dance worthy joy on the boat. To top it all off, each of us received gift bags a thoughtful touch that made us feel seen, valued, and celebrated. We even got mini customized journals with our names on the journals and the pencil. So awesome!
Shout out to the captain! He put safety first and gave up such an amazing boat cruise.
The Sisterhood That Heals
I swear, nothing matches the energy of gathering with women who uplift each other unconditionally. Whether through laughter, deep conversations, or simply being together in the moment this day reminded us, you are not alone. We are stronger, braver, and more radiant together. These bonds we built them on the waves.
A Reminder We All Need
Women today juggle so much career, family, expectations, and self-care. Yet, how often do we take the time to simply pause and just breathe, reflect, and reclaim our strength? This getaway wasn’t indulgent it was necessary. A gentle yet powerful reminder that caring for our inner lives is just as vital as caring for everything else.
