The Mix and Mingle Singles Edition Was a Whole Vibe!

Updated: Mar 27

Hey Yal, it’s me, Tinzley, your Settlefree Life and Dating Coach. Y’all know that I always advocate for women, making sure they know to not to settle for less than they deserve in any area of their life!

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to host a singles event in Douglasville Ga.

Let me tell you, The Mix and Mingle Singles Edition was nothing short of AMAZING! This event was perfectly curated for anyone looking to elevate their dating life, improve relationship dynamics, or just soak up some real, raw, and refreshing advice on love and life. Whether you were there to learn, listen, share your story, or just vibe with like-minded people, this event offered something valuable for everyone.

I had the absolute BEST time hosting! The energy in the room was alive and well! The audience was engaged and open. From start to finish, the room was buzzing with good vibes, meaningful conversations, and genuine connections.

One of my favorite parts? The panel discussions! We had great conversations as people chimed in during both the singles session and the couples & marriage session. It was powerful to witness different perspectives being shared respectfully. You know how relationship convos can sometimes go left, but not here. This was grown folk energy all the way. Mature dialogue, healthy debates, and open-mindedness ruled the room. That right there showed me we were among individuals who came to grow, not argue.

And let’s talk about the FOOD! Phenomenal doesn’t even do it justice. There was this one vendor Chef Reese, ‘Eat Me Out Spudz,’ that served up the most delicious plate. I’m still dreaming about it! Honestly, if I had more time, I would’ve doubled back for seconds (and maybe thirds).

The vendors added such a great touch, too. I’m a big supporter of small businesses, and it warmed my heart to see so many amazing entrepreneurs showcasing their products and services. Especially with all the challenges small businesses face these days, it felt good to support, discover, and connect with local brands.

And shout out to Kamara Daughtry, this was her very first time as assistant producer putting on an event like this in Douglasville, GA, and she SHOWED OUT! The room was packed, the support was overflowing, and the execution was top-tier. I’m beyond proud and can’t wait to support the next one.

Kamara is a Journalist, Radio Host, Producer , and Resume genius!

With so much happening in the world today, healthy conversations are more important than ever. We need to openly discuss relationship dynamics….how to build and sustain strong connections, how to heal and grow after heartbreak, and how to better understand one another. That’s why I’m so proud of Kamara for visualizing and creating such a powerful event. It was a major success, and let’s get ready for the next one!
